It was very easy to use! Bend the metal disc found inside the liquid heart back and forth. As the activation process takes place, the whole heart starts to heat up. It does get VERY hot in the beginning. As it cools, the crystals inside start to harden. It took about 30 mins before this happened. When it was time to boil the heart so that itll reset, I had my xoxo facing down...I dont recommend this. The pot tends to leave marks. No marks were left on the backside when I had the back facing the bottom of the pan. VERY worth the price.
